Students Evaluation Tests (SET)

Why SET?

  • To search the hidden talents among the under-privileged students of vernacular educational institutions and to boost it up.
  • To help the under-privileged students of vernacular schools and high madrasahs to compete with the students of highly-paid English medium schools.
  • To stop the migration of students from own medium to English medium.
  • To create competitive awareness among vernacular students.

Participation

  • Students of IX, X, XI (Humanities, Commerce and Science) and XII (Humanities, Commerce and Science) are to appear in SET separately.

Subjects and Syllabus

1. CLASS IX:

100 multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) from complete syllabus of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in the following manner -

  • 15 MCQs each from History, Geography, Physical Science, Life Science, Mathematics and English i.e. 15x6 = 90.
  • 10 MCQs from General Knowledge.

2. CLASS X:

100 multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) from complete syllabus of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education in the following manner -

  • 15 MCQs each from History, Geography, Physical Science, Life Science, Mathematics and English i.e. 15x6 = 90.
  • 10 MCQs from General Knowledge.

3. CLASS XI (HUMANITIES):

100 Multiple Choice Questions from complete syllabus West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education in the following manner -

  • English Language - 15 MCQs.
  • General Knowledge - 10 MCQs.
  • Out of History, Geography, Political Science, Education and Economics any three subjects can be chosen. Each subject will have 25 MCQs i.e. 25x3=75 MCQs.

4. CLASS XI (COMMERCE):
